Kindergarten Registration

• Pre-registration and registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open.
• Click the link below to pre-register your student(s).
• You will receive an automated email within 24 to 48 hours of pre-registration (longer if submitted during the weekend or holidays). *Be sure to check your spam folder*

• Pre-registration and registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open.

• Once the pre-registration information has been reviewed, you will receive an email that will contain your child’s student ID and password to continue the registration in PowerSchool, our student information system. If you already have a PowerSchool Parent account, add your new student to an existing account. 

 

What documents are needed to complete enrollment online?

• Proof of residency in Falmouth, Maine (two types) (Read the proof of residency requirements.) 
• Proof of immunizations for your student(s) (See our proof of immunization requirements) 

What documents do I need to bring in person to complete registration?

Once PowerSchool registration is confirmed, you will receive an email from the elementary school letting you know to bring in the following:

• a certified copy of your child’s original birth certificate.

You can bring in the document(s) to the Falmouth Elementary School main office at 58 Woodville Road between 10:00am and 2:00pm Monday - Friday. During this visit we will also schedule your child’s appointment for kindergarten screening.

• All prospective Kindergarten students must attend a screening session, which will be held May 1 and 2, 2025.
• Instructions for the screening process will be sent to parents/guardians after registering.
• When you bring in the original proof of birth to the Elementary School main office, your student will be scheduled for an appointment.

What to expect

The purpose of a kindergarten screening is to determine if your child is developmentally ready for kindergarten and if they can benefit from additional support. These screenings can also be a great way to help your child become familiar with the school and our staff. The screening usually evaluates your child’s language development, cognitive skills, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills.
